1. Are the images on CMSP.com free or are costs
involved to use images?
CMSP sells usage licenses. You must purchase a usage license by contacting
CMSP via email or phone.
Email CMSP at requests@cmsp.com or
call 773-267-3100 (international number) or 800-373-2677 from North America.
2. How much does an image cost?
Costs are determined by usage. Determining factors include file size needed,
print run, geographical usage, editorial vs commercial use, print, broadcast,
training, etc. Contact CMSP for prices.
3. How can I search for an image?
Click on the Image Search button. Type in a keyword that matches what you
are looking for. A keyword is a single
word or a phrase that is descriptive of your search subject. To find a particular
image by its image number, enter the number in the following format: Z###-AAAA-####
4. Do I have to login to be able to search?
No, you don't have to login to search. If you do login, you will be able to
save images in and create lightboxes. The creation of
lightboxes will enable you to email colleagues your image choices or to just
keep a record of your choices. First you will want to register by choosing
a username and password. Then proceed to Image
Search.
5. Are CMSP images royalty free?
CMSP specializes in rights managed images. Two disks of royalty free images
can be viewed online.
6. Can I download a free comp?
Watermarked comps are available for download only after you register.
7. I found an image but now I can not find it using the search, why?
You probably right clicked the image you found. You should have registered
and saved it to a lightbox. Sorry, but you will have to contact CMSP to find
the image again (unless you search using the same keywords, then you will
be able to find it by searching again).
