THE AMERICAN BISON COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE BUFFALO OR PLAINS BUFFALO IS NATIVE TO NORTH AMERICA, WHILE THE EUROPEAN BISON OR WISENT IS NATIVE TO EUROPE.
